Moodboard
Process of this was using the name "Mountain Rock" heavy to its advantage. Utilizing pictures of mountains, and the sharp edged shapes of rocks, then gathering various different colors of the different sediments.
For the design of the logo itself, I looked to the shape of the letter "M" to see if anything would work there, then when drawing a mountain with sharp edges and shapes I found a shape I liked, flipped it, and got the result I wanted.
Due to the negative space in the middle, I added a central "mountain" simulating a mountain behind the two others.
